We check mirrors all day to make sure we look "well ordered" on the outside. But we don't often look within ourselves to make sure we're well ordered on the inside. Catholics, and The Church need a reflective perspective, and look deep within ourselves and see what's out of order, and needs to be put right.
The ACLU is once again working its black magic in an attempt to force the Catholic Church to provide abortions to illegal immigrants. And in the Church we respond to that by reducing the truth to a constitutional debate. That's just not good enough!
We support vice, indifference, and pave new paths to disorder...all in the name of love. Disordered love.
The devil, and those tho give their wills over to him, tries very hard to take every beautiful thing away from you, by teaching you to kill it. Because The Beautiful compliments and preserves our own nature. By taking away The Beautiful, he can better undo YOU.
When the Catholic Homily is reduced to little more than a pep talk from the pulpit, the faith becomes little more than spiritual masturbation.
Atheists say that they don't need to believe in "a god" or in a religion in order to be moral. But that's not true. An atheist can BEHAVE morally without believing in God, but they cannot BE moral without believing in God.
An atmosphere of fear is plaguing the Catholic Culture. We must counter it with Faith. Faith leads to hope. Hope leads to action.
We're facing a global pandemic. The widespread infection of a disease that kills the human person has only one cure; Catholicism.
There is a crisis of faith throughout the Church culture. Catholics have adopted a secular flaw; having ultimate faith in themselves, and little faith left for God and for the Church. This crisis of faith is the cause of every ailment throughout the Church culture.
As Catholics, we are guardians and defenders of the Truth. We must always defend it, and be ready to sacrifice ourselves in its defense. We must also remember that the truth has its enemies, and they are "guardians" of a different sort.
